Level 2 Award in Wines is a beginner- to intermediate-level qualification exploring wines. It is suitable for industry professionals and wine enthusiasts. The course caters to those wishing to learn about a wide range of wines or seeking to build on knowledge from WSET Level 1 Award in Wines (although there are no prerequisites to WSET 2). You will gain knowledge of the world's principal and regionally important grape varieties, wine regions, and style of wine. Through both tasting and theory, you will explore the factors that impact style and quality and learn how to describe these wines with confidence.

 

This accelerated course includes 3 Tuesday evening classes and 3 Saturday classes, with an exam in the 4th Tuesday session. On successful completion, you will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin and will be able to use the associated "WSET-certified" logo.

 

Class dates are as follows:  April 26, 30, May 3, 7, 10, 14, and 17.

Withdrawal up to two weeks prior to the course start date: Refund of tuition, less $150 administration fee.

Withdrawal between two weeks and three days before course start date: Refund of %50 of tuition less $150 administration fee.

Withdrawal less than three days before course start date: No refund

In the event that a course is cancelled by WDCM, your registration is transferable to the next scheduled course. If you choose not to transfer your registration, you may retain your Study Pack for $90 plus applicable taxes. You may return the Study Pack only if it is in new condition.
